The Swedish Coast Guard took part in the operation in the ports of Kapellskär, Nynäshamn, Norrköping, Trelleborg and Gothenburg. One result was that we found twelve containers of metal waste in Norrköping. The County Administrative Board issued environmental penalty charges for them. We also took part in a special operation against boat engine thefts on the southern east coast.
In total, about 50 people were arrested. Goods worth almost five million kronor were seized and distrained, along with a large quantity of narcotics and stolen goods.
The results of the operation show how strong Swedish authorities are when we work together. They also show how our cooperation in this operation, both nationally and internationally, leads to better collaboration in everyday work. We learn from each other and from how we can use our different resources to achieve the best possible effect. \u00A0
