The Swedish Coast Guard is led by our Director General. The agency also has a Deputy Director General, who stands in for the Director General and must otherwise be available to the Director General for special matters.
Coast guard stations
The Coast Guard has 20 coast guard stations along the Swedish coast, on Lake Vänern and on Lake Mälaren. The agency also has an air station at Skavsta and a coast guard station called Utland ("Abroad") for international operations, which has no physical location.
