On 1 April, applications open for the Coast Guard's basic training, with the course starting in January 2027.

High-speed training in the Stockholm archipelago

In late April and early May, the Swedish Coast Guard is carrying out practical high-speed training in the Stockholm archipelago. This is part of the basic training for the agency's trainee officers. It focuses on developing the ability to manoeuvre and navigate the Coast Guard's high-speed boats in varying conditions.
